Manager Dean Saunders is a UEFA B licensed coach with a background in Futsal and Talent ID. Dean has experience from grassroots through to academy level, with time at Walsall, the Albion and Aston Villa; doing a mixture of coaching and scouting. Dean has also spent years involved in the women’s game, having spells at Sutton Town u16’s, Lichfield Reserves and Alvechurch Firsts.
Dean is joined in his new quest as Ladies Reserve team manager by Jake Goodman who boasts a semi-professional playing experience at Bilston Town and Halesowen Town, as well as Jack Bull who has lots of experience in coaching girls all through the ages at grassroots level. Dean, Jake and Jack look forward to, not only a new chapter in their personal footballing lives’, but also a new chapter in the club’s history. This is the first ladies reserve team we have had and we are in no doubt that it has been taken on by the right people.
We hope that, with this reserve team to help our first team, the recent successes of all our girl’s and women’s teams at the club will continue to grow and prosper.
