Harry & Kier took over the Reserves in 2024, with Adam Watson being promoted to the First Team. This presented Harry with an opportunity to step in and continue Adam’s great work in ensuring the players are of a quality to support the first team.
Under Mr. Watson’s guidance in their first season (22/23), they impressively got to two semi finals & got the reserves promoted to the Birmingham AFA as champions. Going into the next season (23/24), they finished second in the MFL Reserve league with winning The Senior Cup & League Cup.
24/25 Season – Harry Tuffield came in as manager after successful spells at Birmingham City FC, Tamworth FC & Lichfield City FC. He has coached from grassroots to academy football – UEFA B qualified with aspirations to do his A License. Coming in to support is Kier Rhodes who has worked with Harry previously and someone Harry can trust to deliver exactly what we are looking for. With previous coaching at Chasetown YPD and Lichfield City Academy, Kier comes into the Reserves with a proven track record of maximising player development. Former first team captain and player Lewis James also comes on board to support the new lads with his knowledge and experience. Under new guidance we hope this is a real step forward for the football club, Harry is a great man manager who we are very thankful to have on board.
